Canberra: National Dinosaur Museum

Funnily enough, my favourite thing at the National Dinosaur Museum are the wood fossils scattered around the grounds of the museum, although the Barbarians love the dinosaurs. I read somewhere the museum is “the largest permanent display of dinosaur and other prehistoric fossil material in Australia”. I’m not sure if that is correct, but with 23 complete skeletons and more than 300 individual fossil displays, plus the large dinosaurs scattered around the grounds I wouldn’t be surprised if it was true.
