If I tried it there would be no point getting it appraised, but I bet there are some ultra-creative types out there who would make pretty spiffy paperclip jewellery.
I’ve never had that happen to me, but I once had a colleague who did that when he was mulling on something. The complexity of the problem was equal to the length of the chain.
