No such thing as a new plot

Take a plot and put your own unique twist on it… I’ve heard that time and time again.

The best example of how doing this works that I think I’ve come across is by comedians Axis of Awesome – not exactly where you’d think to look but their “Four Chord Song” really does demonstrate it beautifully. I’ll leave it to them to explain…
