Places to visit

In 2020 I’m answering a list of 52 journal questions. Read about it here.

10 places you would like to visit.
It’s funny, when I was younger I had a long list of places I really wanted to visit. As I’ve aged, my desire to visit those places has lessened. It’s not that I wouldn’t visit them if I got the chance, more that I won’t be disappointed if I never do. Probably just as well with the way the world is!

I don’t really have a list of ten places. I’m always excited to go to new places, and I love to travel. But I guess I’m not sure what opportunities I’ll have, so I’ll take whatever comes my way. There are so many amazing places in the world, getting the chance to see any would be great.

By choice, I’d like to explore more of Australia. I’m very fortunate in that I have seen quite a bit of our beautiful country, but there is still a lot more to see (and places I’d like to revisit). I’d also love to do an Alaskan cruise and spend some more time in New Zealand.

I would love to go to Europe. The company I toured Scotland with has a few packages for Europe and I would LOVE to go on one of those. I know people say travel while you can, debt is always there, but I am just refocusing on debt right now. What’s the point of making that number bigger for travel?! Lol its hard enough dealing with paying off justified debt (school loans)

    • Europe would be lovely to get to. It’s a long way for us (actually, pretty much everywhere is a long way for us) so really expensive.

Ugh soooo expensive!! Lol everything is so expensive – especially when you add in airfare. When I went to Scotland the flights doubled the cost of the package….

  2. I guess travelling is a fun thing. I’ve never much enjoyed it.

    • Is it because you’ve had bad experiences, Liz? Or just that travelling isn’t your thing?
