Tough year, but still a silver lining

It’s been a tough first half of the year (as you’ve probably realised from my absence). I’m trying to get back on track and to do that have decided rather than have a set blogging schedule like I used to, I’m going to post randomly. I’m pretty sure this will mean I post more than before anyway, because planning to get a blog post for a specific day and time was becoming stressful, while random has no stress associated (yeah, okay, I may be a little anal, lol).

I’ve composed many a post in my head, so there may be a number of posts that are from events or thoughts over the last couple of months. Hopefully none of you will care 🙂

I’m also going to push myself to navigate through the road block I hit with getting my newsletter up and running so hopefully I’ll post about that soon as well.

While the first half of 2022 hasn’t been the most wonderful for me, I have to say, I’ve still found my silver linings. I really appreciate my new work hours (I do a 30-hour week over Mon to Wed) and for me the halfway mark means spring and warmer weather is getting closer 🙂 What has been your silver lining for the first half of 2022?

  1. Whatever works for you. I have a blogging plan, but that’s what works for me. I know this year has been… Yikes. It’s been a year. I’ll be so glad to get to the other side of things.

    • I’ve had a blogging plan for the best part of a decade. But I guess I need a new one, so random might just have to work for now.

  2. So nice to hear from you again! I’m sorry the year has been tough. It’s had its challenges for me as well, and I’ve hardly blogged at all. I’m hoping for a reboot come July. It always helps to recognize the silver linings!

    • Oh, I’m sorry to hear yours has been tough too, Jenny. Hopefully July will be a reboot for us both!

  3. I, too, have missed you. I hope you can settle in and get your blog working again.

I have many things to ask, such as, how do you keep your trainers so white?
