A very clear and accurate explanation…
Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister were two of the many British comedies I grew up watching (and loved). Not many shows that can be as relevant today as it was when it was made decades ago. Can’t wait until streaming options bring it back to Australia.
Have you ever seen it or read the books?

OOOOO so you’re going to follow the USA’s plan for the virus HAHAHAHAHA
I was thinking this was a serious post and I’m like “you have a stage 4?! We only have 3 stages!” lol this was cute!

Actually, we do have 4 stages, lol. But no, totally not serious.

Haha I guess our stage 4 would be “January 2020 life”?

No, we were in bushfire then… lets go back further, say September 2019 (my spring, your autumn so we are both happy 😉 )

Hah! Nothing in government ever changes, does it? Funny because it is timeless…and universal.
Thanks AJ!

This show more than anything shows that, Deb. I found it funny as a kid, but as an adult even more so because you understand how scarily real it is, lol.

Never saw that show, but looks like one we would have enjoyed. Maybe we can get it in Britbox or Acorn…

John, I am sure you must be able to get it on one of those. It is classic BBC comedy and was incredibly popular when it first aired. If you can I highly recommend it!
(and if you do, one of my favourite episodes is the one with the hospital – you’ll know it when you watch it)

Gee, that sounds suspiciously like my government’s plan. . .

Haha, maybe your government thought the books were non-fiction…
