In September 2019, Australia started to burn. Where I live we had 4 months of hot, windy, smoke-filled skies with fire warnings keeping us attached to our phones. Then we had a serious hail storm (take the more than 20,000 cars written off as an indicator). Then covid19. It’s been a year to forget.
To help ensure this Christmas is as good as it can be, the ACT Chief Health Officer has written this decree…
I love that people haven’t lost their sense of humour. What have you seen recently that made you smile?

LOL oh my gosh that is adorable!! I love it!! Our government put out a bylaw to allow the Easter bunny to come in April. Nothing on the Grinch so far.

The Government here has also decreed a special exemption to allow Santa and his reindeer border access without the need for a declaration or the 14-days quarantine.

That’s very clever!
I’m sure there are hundreds of funny holiday/quarantine memes flying about, but I haven’t seen any of them. Good thing Santa has a sense of humor. He’s going to need it this year!

Oh, yeah. I hope Santa has a sled full of good cheer because I think that’s what everyone needs in their stocking.

Very good! Santa is a Canadian citizen so I don’t think he needs such compensation
