Today is also the day of remembrance foe the Armenian Genocide. A historic one at that too as its the first time a sitting US President has used the word “genocide” to describe it.
May the memories of the lost and fallen be felt and loved today xoxo

Thanks, Jacqui. Both my grandfathers served in WWII and The Hub served for 12 years.And I wouldn’t have the life I have if it hadn’t bee for the people who came before and are serving now.
Australians usually turn out in droves for ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day. There had been fears that with the loss of veterans from those earlier conflicts that Aussies would let the tradition slide, but it’s gone the other way, more and more are showing their respect. It’s truly wonderful.
