In these crazy times I think it’s really important to have a laugh, so I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
In case you aren’t familiar, this is very much in the style of Aussie bush poetry (a la Banjo Paterson).
If there were any Aussie-isms that caught you out, let me know and I’ll translate for you 😉

What I don’t get is why toilet paper and bottled water? (That’s what everyone is hoarding here, besides cleaning products.) The need for one precludes the usefulness of the other, right?

I don’t know why anyone is hoarding anything, at least here. We have plenty of products made right in our country. No need to hoard. I think people are just wanting to have some control over something – but we haven’t been able to buy toilet paper in 2 weeks…starting to keep the newspaper for when we run out of the regular stuff *sigh*

Haha! Too funny, too true! I was at the grocery store fifteen minutes ago, and the toilet paper shelves are empty again/still.

It’s crazy, right! I mean, I think I would have understood if it was throat lozenges and thermometers. But toilet paper?!
