Nature can be incredible and the ibex definitely falls into that category. Like all mountain goats, I’ve always been amazed at how they manage to climb crazy rocky outcrops and cliffs.
The nimble Ibex can jump the height of an adult male from standing. They also have split toes which helps them to climb mountainous terrain with ease.
Why am I talking about Ibex? Because The Hub showed me the footage below (don’t worry, no Ibex come to any grief).
Personally, even if I had suction cups for toes you wouldn’t catch me doing this.
My tummy clenched the whole time I watched this. How about you?

I have watched this video a few times and each time I get so anxious for those little guys! Especially for the baby or when it’s the part where they are slipping?! UUGGGHHH Why don’t they just find a better place to live where they don’t have to do this all the time LOL #ughmyheart

I kinda wonder why they have to do it on the dam wall. I mean, there are heaps of rocks in the ground behind them. And before the dam wall they would have had to find the nutrients elsewhere. Maybe for them this is the easy option?!

RIGHT! Why not relocate to the top of the dam and then lick it off the rocks from the top or along the edge of the water where I’m sure it is also present on the rocks? Weird lol
