In 2020 I’m answering a list of 52 journal questions. Read about it here.
What do you feel strongly about?
That peppermint is better than spearmint. It doesn’t matter whether it is toothpaste, a mint lolly or ice-cream, it needs to be peppermint. Trouble is, the Hub thinks spearmint is the better of the two.
Peppermint is used to make mint jelly to go with your roast lamb, the icing in choc-mint slice, the filling in after dinner mints, sprigs of leaves in your mojito or punch. These just wouldn’t work with spearmint.
Where the Hub likes spearmint is in chewing gum, mints and toothpaste. Luckily they are things I don’t have to share with him. Although I do complain if he eats spearmint mints in the car – I don’t even like the smell.
Are you a peppermint or spearmint fan?

LOL oh man! I have never really thought about the difference between the two!
But I might have to side with The Hubs on this one lol

Lol, the Hub and I debate it quite a bit.

Spearmint for the win!

Oh, Dena, you’re one of them *wink*. The Hub thinks you are quite sensible…

I have never ever had a good think about peppermint or spearmint. Hunh….

I guess that means you like (or dislike) both equally!

I’m a mint avoider. Mint in toothpaste is okay. An occasional mint for my breath is, too. Otherwise, no mint.

Funny how our tastebuds are all so very different.
