I’m a touchy kind of person. I love hugs and firmly believe hugs can solve a lot of problems. It’s been scientifically documented that people need touch. But in this politically-correct world where touch isn’t allowed and where touch means more about your device screen than human contact, there are many people (adults and children) who are starved for touch.
This poem resonated with me so I wanted to share…
I will not play at tug o’war.
I’d rather play at hug o’war,
Where everyone hugs
Instead of tugs,
Where everyone giggles
And rolls on the rug,
Where everyone kisses,
And everyone grins,
And everyone cuddles,
And everyone wins.
