For long time followers of my blog, you might remember that every year I bring you the Australia Day lamb advert. This year’s ad is actually relevant worldwide. I’d love to think some lamb on the barbie would solve this year’s topic. What do you think of this year’s ad?
If you’re keen to see previous ads, just search “lamb ad” on my blog page search bar.
In a time-honoured tradition, we had a barbie for tea on Australia Day. Yes, it was lamb π

I have seen this one and others. I think there are a couple that are better, but itβs amusing.

I agree, Sue. I think my favourite two are the one where they rescue Aussies around the world (except the vegan) and the one with the covid border wall.

I’ll have to check out the ad later, when I’m not at work.

they are fun to watch. When the ad comes out each year, it makes the news!

Oh, if only the solution were that simple! I don’t think lamb is that popular in the US though, so maybe we’re doomed haha!

I’ve always puzzled over why there doesn’t seem to be sheep in the US. Lamb is very yummy π

That is very clever.

They have a lot of fun with the lamb ads.

These are some of the most perfectly executed ads ever. I look forward to them each year and wish lamb were more popular (and less expensive) here in the US.

Oh, I’m glad you enjoy them, Lynda. Lamb is about the same price as beef here (we eat a lot of lamb)…not sure how I would go if it was scarce.
