This year I am once again participating in the A to Z Blog Challenge (my fourth time). I wasn’t planning on joining in this year, but during last year’s A to Z I had an idea for a theme and haven’t been able to shake it, so here I am.
If you are going to have a theme to your posts today (well, yesterday here, today in the US) is the day to reveal all. I find a theme is more fun, and as I already had an idea for a theme, naturally I am using it this year.
After last year’s rather dark theme of serial killers I thought I’d go in a totally different direction with something that is much lighter and hopefully more entertaining. My theme is… *drumroll*
…JOHN WILLIAMS’ FILM SCORES!

Wow! That’s quite a specific theme! But it must be fun.
Have a great challenge!

Haha, it is quite specific, but I realised many of my all time favourite music scores were composed by John Williams. Then I discovered how many scores he’s done! Seemed too good to pass up as a theme.

Oooooo wow!! As mentioned above that is really specific! But I can’t wait to get into a theme that I know nothing about!
I posted my theme on Monday! It needs your vote if you haven’t voted yet lol

You know, I didn’t really think about how specific it was because there is so much to choose from (60 years of compositions well into the hundreds in number). Hopefully it will be fun listening. I’ll pop over now to your blog, GF. As you will know I am behind again *sigh* one of those years!

Oh wow I had no idea there was so much to choose from! I still can’t wait! I have no idea who that person is lol
And no need to rush! The pill stays open until the end of March 😊 take your time! No stress

That’s a killer theme! Are you going to slip in any of his scores for TV shows as well?
March 21, 2019 at 8:31 am
I am going to put one in, John, to acknowledge his TV credits (it’s L). Plus I’m including his very first score, which is neither TV or feature film (but is a film of sorts) – it’s Y.

Wonderful, AJ! I look forward to reading your posts. I won’t be able to participate this year due to a travel commitment right smack dab in the middle of the month. But I’ll reading!

Deb, you are doing so much travelling this year! I’m jealous 😉

Awesome! I’m ready to read!

I hope you enjoy the posts, Dena.

Cool. What are you going to use for X? (I always wonder about X.)
March 21, 2019 at 8:50 am
For X this year I’m having to go with ‘x’ as part of a word. I always try to find something with ‘x’ at the start, but it just couldn’t be done this year. But I’m really happy with ‘x’ 🙂
Actually, I was stoked when I realised I could get an alphabet quite easily (I was spoilt for choice with some and had to make some hard decisions about what to choose).

Eclectic theme. I will definitely have to check these posts out.

I tend to pick things I have an interest in for A – Z, Jacqui, justifies my research time 😉

I’m impressed! I’m not doing A to Z this year, but I can’t wait to see what you come up with! I do enjoy John Williams, and I look forward to learning more about him.

Thanks, Jenny. I’m enjoying writing the posts so I hope you enjoy them too.
