Today is the day to celebrate all things Australian. A summer long weekend, we normally go camping, have a barbie with friends, go bushwalking…but this year we had other commitments. Until they fell through this week. So with nothing planned we’re going to have a cruisey weekend instead. Maybe a board game and movie at night, but during the day nothing definite. So I am going to disappear into my office and write. 3 whole days suddenly free is too good to miss.

The bus driver today was Australian I think!! Or from New Zealand, but I think Australia! He was sooo cheerful and saying hi to everyone and being so sweet. I tweeted the company about him 😂 I hope they pass along my tweets, cos I am smitten

Did he say six like sex? Than he is a Kiwi. Otherwise, Aussie *grin*. The accents are similar, probably like Americans and Canadians 😉

Oh I’m not sure? He said hello and have a nice day to EVERYONE who came and went on the bus, he drove passed stops a little to find places with no snow piles to drop people off, he waited for people to leave by the front of the bus if there was snow at the back door, lowered the wheelchair ramp for a sweet old lady with a cart instead of just lowering the side of the bus!!! 😍🥰
