It seems that someone in Indonesia is trying to hack my website. They have been unsuccessful so far, and I have strengthened my security, but I wanted to warn my readers…just in case something suspicious comes from me. To confirm, I will never ask for any personal details more than a name and address – and that’s only if you are a winner from a newsletter giveaway. I have to have somewhere to send the prize!
For those of you who are also subscribed to my newsletter, I do have one coming out on Friday 6th, so don’t be concerned if that lands in your inbox.
I suspect they are trying to hack because it looks like I haven’t been here of late. And that’s true! But I have been focused on my newsletter over the last few months (tech headaches which I hope are now fixed) which is why I neglected my blog. To be honest, I will probably post less moving forwards because I do have my newsletter.
Have you had issues with scammers/hackers recently? There seem to be so many nowadays 🙁

Oh, dear! How did you know about the hacker? As you know, I’m on Blogger, so no idea if anyone has tried, let alone where they come from.

I get an alert, so it makes it easy!

I’m sorry. That sucks. The scammers are so bad that my school district implemented a whole slew of new security measures.
