Bulb update

If you remember, around Easter I posted about planting over 250 bulbs. I was worried after all that work I would get to spring and nothing. So I am very excited to be able to say I have sprouting bulbs! At least I will have some flowers come spring. Time will tell how many.

This is where I have freesia, dutch iris, grape hyacinth, sparaxis, daffodil, ixia and spring stars…
The plants at the top are anenome and the ones at the bottom (like the one circled) are ranunculi.

The anenome and ranunculi are doing the best, but they are in a garden that gets sun. The others will get more sun as winter progresses – hopefully I’ll see more sprouting as that happens.

Very excited for spring to come 🙂
