My next writing retreat is later this week! I am very excited. I have my writing goals for the retreat sorted and can’t wait to get stuck in.
This retreat is a little different as it’s somewhere I haven’t retreated to before – my parents’ house. In serendipitous timing they are going to be away and need someone to dog sit at the same time one of my dearest writing friends, Leisl Leighton, will be in town for a book signing event.
We’re going to move in so my day-to-day home life is less disruptive to our writing and the pups can stay in their home (usually they relocate to me if they need looking after).
The view will be lovely and the weather warm, so I am thinking sitting outside on the terrace might be a lovely place to write.
