It’s spring… I really don’t need to say more, I’m sure you can picture me happy dancing. To celebrate, my garden presented me with daffodils (and yes, they are from my bulbs).
Flowers always make me happy. What makes you happy?

Those are beautiful! Are the purple and white flowers also a type of daffodil? They look almost like clematis, but prettier.
We’re heading into fall soon here, but spring flowers make me extremely happy. Tulips are my favorite, with daffodils running a close second. We throw crocus bulbs all over the yard and plant them wherever they land, because by the time it’s mowing season, they’ve bloomed and died already, but in the in-between time, they’re such a welcome splash of color as the snow melts.

The only daffodils are the first photo – all the other flowers (purple, red, pale green, white) are anemones π They were the first of my bulbs to flower and look amazing. Today (2nd Sept and 2nd day of spring) I have about 5 different daffodils flowering. But the one pictured above was the very first to bloom.

Nothing says spring like daffodils. Lovely.

Jacqui, I know! They are just about my favourite bulb. I can’t help but smile at a sunny daffodil.

Still feels like summer here. We don’t really get a fall until November, but sometimes it cools in October.

I used to buy daffodil bulbs at the Royal Melbourne Show. But Iβm in a flat. Itβs kind of hard to grow them in pots! π (The best I ever got was 2 or 3, which was still nice)

I love the arrival of spring! My older son has a March birthday, and daffodils make me think of him because that’s when they bloom here!
