Update…

It has only been 12 days since I returned from my writing retreat cruise. Can I just say it feels like a lifetime!

I came back to a state of bedlam and it has taken me the last week to try and sort out life (as no doubt it has for all of you as well). From this week the Barbarians’ schools are closed and The Hub’s work have broken teams into two shifts – week on, week off. But at least he still has a job.

I have been trying to catch up on blogs and emails, but they have had to take second place to family (and the hunt for toilet paper). Today I finally feel things have taken a turn and I am starting to get on top of everything.

I’ve also been thinking about my blog and the content I want to post. I am going to continue my regular Friday posts, but in the circumstances, I am going to change up Monday (apart from the one or two quotes I still have scheduled) and the rest of the week.

I will report back on my cruise, but I want to start posting positive articles – things to make you smile, help you get through the day, acts of kindness etc. The world may be different, but it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy life.
