What I am wearing… (lockdown silver lining #2)

In 2020 I’m answering a list of 52 journal questions. Read about it here.

What are you wearing right now?
Here is another of those silver linings from being in lockdown. Not being able to go anywhere means I can dress for comfort. And I am!

Remember that in Australia we are heading into winter…

I am wearing my comfiest warm clothing: tracky dacks, skivvy, jumper, sneakers and socks.

Skivvy very similar to this
Men’s tracky dacks from Best and Less
RWAust 2019 conference hoodie

How are you dressing in lockdown?

Wednesday was the first day that I spent the WHOLE DAY in work out clothes lol usually it’s jeans and a “video conference with the principal” appropriate shirt. So basically anything in my closet haha just instead of dress pants I’m in jeans. It’s lovely! I love my jeans

    • I’m definitely a fan of tracky dacks. Soft and stretchy and warm. I prefer them to jeans, especially because they have an elasticised waist so I don’t have to wear a belt like I do with jeans.

Omg I hate belts! Lol ugh such a pain!

    • Yeah, me too, but I have a small waist compared to hips so I have no choice but to belt up my jeans 🙁

    Oooo dang I’m sorry!

  4. We’ve been having cold and rainy weather, too. Not very spring-like. But it only serves to keep us from wanting to go out, so yay?

    • We had a cold wet day this week and it was really nice to know we had to stay snuggled inside 🙂

  5. I don’t wear jeans any more. I prefer the comfort of tracky dacks, though careful to wear ones which are plain, black for preference, so I could get away with wearing them to work. But that’s ONLY in mid winter. The rest of the year it’s soft skirts and tops, including t shirts.

    • *shiver* I couldn’t wear t-shirts all year. Too cold in Canberra. I normally wear dresses in winter for work/going out, but with black skivvy underneath, fleecy leggings and knee high boots!
