A sense of achievement

I love that feeling you get when you finish something. If you could bottle it I would get it by the boxful. I have that feeling now.

This semester I have been lecturing at the Canberra Institute of Technology and everything has been online. I like to be well ahead of my teaching weeks, so have worked to get all the lessons prepared. The difference this time is once the lesson is ready it has to be recorded and uploaded to the portal.

I just finished recording my last lesson!!

Not only that, I have also set up all the work (online) that students would normally do in the classroom. It’s been a bit tricky but it. is. done!

All that is left to do is to provide feedback each week on their work and mark their final assessments. It is very freeing. Totally worth the crazy effort to get it all done early.

Do you love that sense of achievement when you finish something?

  1. Oooo awesome! Way to go!!!

I love that feeling as well! Usually after cleaning or organizing things, or after shopping on Saturday and cooking dinners for the whole week! Such a good feeling!

  2. Congratulations! That’s a big job. And, yes, best feeling ever!

  3. I second the little… widget guy… huzzah!

  4. Congrats. Yes, that’ll make things easier. And you can keep those lessons for the future, too.

    • Oh, if only I could use them in the future. They are changing the subjects on offer (again!) for next year. It seems to happen with every subject I teach. *sigh*
