I thought I’d update you on how my bulbs are going (you can read about my previous spring bulb posts here and here).
I planted anemone and ranunculi in a garden bed that is north facing, so it’s had a lot of winter sun over the last couple of months. More than the other bulbs.
I guess it isn’t a surprise that the anenomes are the first to flower! I’m so excited to see quite a few buds already formed. I’m hoping they will be open some time this week!
I’ll continue to update you as spring gets closer (only a couple of weeks!).
What do you look forward to when spring approaches?

YAY flowers! Your picture won’t load for me though haha
When spring does hit around here, I am usually SOOOO over the cold and slush that has come from late February and into March. I am excited to stop wearing my heavy coat and my clunky boots and to have warm weather.

Pretty flower. Since we really don’t have a winter around here, spring is more of a suggestion by the calendar.

When I lived in Queensland (sub-tropics) it was the same…except for the wattle. It always flowers in August so we would have trees covered in golden blooms everywhere. Always told us it was spring.
