In 2020 Iโm answering a list of 52 journal questions. Read about it here.
How do you see the world?
I am definitely a positive, glass half full, person.
I try and find something everyday, no matter how bad the day, that makes me smile. I try and take delight in the world, especially the little things. I’ve never let my inner child grow up – I laugh out loud during a movie, I sing in the supermarket aisle, I dance around the gym. After all, we only get one shot at this =)
The world is a wonderful place, if we just let ourselves see it.
*I’m travelling at the moment with limited internet, so apologies if I’m late responding to your comments

I’m with you, AJ! No matter what life throws at us, the only thing we have complete control over is our attitude. Might as well be a happy one.

Deb, “The most painful thing to experience is not defeat but regret” – one of my favourite sayings. Being happy will be one less regret.

Me too. I’ve tried to be depressing and judgmental and it just isn’t me!

How did you try that, Jacqui (and why?). I think it would be very exhausting.

That’s a great attitude! The world is indeed a wonderful place, made better by silliness and good humor!

Thanks. I only watched the Gilmore Girls about a year ago, but enjoyed it.

A very positive attitude! I donโt sing in the supermarket, Iโm afraid, but I like to smile at strangers or get chatting on public transport.

Thanks, Sue. I smile at strangers, too.
