Write about someone you love.
I want to tell you about someone who is very loved in our family – our dog, Biggles.
Our beautiful boy turns 14 this coming July. He is a schnoodle (poodle and schnauzer cross), although he’s a little more poodle than schnauzer because his mum was also a schnoodle, while his dad a poodle.
We wanted a small dog but needed one that was good with allergies. After a lot of research decided a schnoodle was the perfect cross. But there were no breeders nearby so we hunted across the country until we came across this photo.
And fell in love. The only trouble was, he was already claimed. About a month later we had another look and discovered the sale had fallen through and Biggles was ours.
We had to wait until he was big enough to fly (he was in another state) so at three months of age he made his way to us.
Biggles is as perfect as a dog can be. He may be old now, but all the extra care he needs now has been paid back to us a million times over with the love and devotion he’s given us.
While he might belong to the family, he’s really my dog and I love him to bits.

Awwww hes so cute! Where did the name Biggles come from?
I have a dog – Clooney! He’s 13 and I think he’s going down hill a little. My mom said he woke her up with a seizure type yelp the other night and he had a hot nose and wouldn’t raise his head etc etc. Apparently he’s ok now though? He lives with my parents cos he loves my dad haha

Biggles is a book character – James Bigglesworth, nicknamed “Biggles”, is a fictional pilot and adventurer, the title character and hero of the Biggles series of adventure books, written for young readers by W. E. Johns (from Wikipedia). And it sounds like Wiggles, so easy for tiny tots to say.
Clooney and Biggles are the same age! Getting old is tough on them and us *sigh*

Adorable! I have a rescue terrier-mix/mutt named Walter. He’s seven, white with a curly tail and a big brown spot on his back. He’s kind of loony and barks a lot, but I love him.

And yes getting old is tough 🥺🥺 my brother set up a video chat day tomorrow for mothers day which Im sure will be a disaster but Im gonna see my baby so its all good!
