I’m very excited because this week I head south to my annual writing retreat with authors Leisl Leighton and Marnie St Clair. This will be our 9th retreat (although during covid we had to pivot to online). We’ve been doing it so long we’ve well and truly got our rhythm which makes for a wonderful few days of writing and catching up.
This year it’s a little more exciting. Thanks to Leisl’s in-demand author schedule she’s travelling home from an author event in Newcastle right before our catch-up. As she’ll be driving past where I live on her way home (okay, maybe an hour detour), she’s stopping in for the night and we’re going to road trip! It’s a bit over seven hours, so an easy day drive. After our road trip we’ll have almost four days of writing. Bliss.
I’ll report back after the retreat, but hopefully the words will flow!
