G’day and welcome to my new home

On October 15th, 2008, I published my first blog post. After 8 years (wow!) I have a new home. I’m rather excited because not only is this my new blog home, but it’s also the launch of my website.

I’ve been meaning to develop my website for quite a while. But I had my blog, and it was like an old pair of slippers; you get really comfortable in them. You don’t want to get new ones; they might not be as comfortable as the last pair. What if they aren’t a good fit? What if you don’t like them? What if they don’t like you and leave nasty blisters on your heel?

At the beginning of this year I started a wordpress course and got a new pair of slippers. I have to say, I couldn’t be more comfortable. There was a wearing in period, but I think I’ve settled in.

So please take your time to look around. I hope you’ll settle in here too.

Let me know what you think of my new home.

  1. What great digs! Love your new website and set up, AJ.

    • Thanks, Lisa. I had a lot of fun (and frustration) setting it up. Love my little bit of Cyberspace now though.

  2. Thanks for letting me know about the new blog. I’ve got the new one in Feedly and removed the old one.

  3. How wonderful you enjoy my ramblings enough to follow. Thanks, John.

  4. Has great layout and look.

  5. Wow, AJ. Your new site looks awesome. Very spiffy.

    • Like all new things it’s nice and shiny now. Hopefully when it starts to dull I’ll get a contract and a book cover to brighten it up. Thanks for stopping by, MA.
